Thanks to Mark Zuckerberg, he has been able to add a new spice to the routine recipe of our life i.e. Facebooking…
Many of my friends are now in their mid-20s and as our Indian society says, it is the ripe age to get married. Same has been happening too. Many of my friends have got married recently or are about to and their facebook profiles have got sudden changes which have not been seen since they have been active on this social platform. The changes are noticeable well-in advance of their actual marriage itinerary.
Few days before engagement and marriage, we can see our friends’ (boys and gals…) status being updated like below-
- Bakra halal hone wala hai
- Bechara shaheed hone wala/wali hai
- 7 days to go, 6 days to go (Seems he/she is going to be launched to space)
- Awaiting a new phase of life
- Missing you so much…
- Oh my jaanu….jhappi palo saanu!( lol)
Hilarious enough, and friends are happily liking and commenting on these status like-
- Beta,. Bhag le nai toh saari umar pachtayega
- Yeh toh gaya
- Ab phasa saala
- Tera number bhi lag gaya
- Doston ko na bhul jaiyo
- I am so happy for you
You will notice a sudden increase in the number of friends in your friend’s profile during their marriage days. There will be all sorts of friend requests from in-laws, relatives, fiancée’s friends, brothers, sisters, cousins and blah blah. Your good gonna-be-hooked friend will start getting confused between this whole new junta in his/her profile and has to make some separate lists to for all these gonna-be-family members.
People now prefer to make a facebook event of their marriage and invite people over there only., thereby decreasing the all kharcha of getting new wedding cards published and sending them over( Nice idea for cost-cutting)
Now, as marriage happens, new photo albums titled engagement, sangeet, pre-marriage preps, marriage day, doli, new home, Honeymoon etc etc. get uploaded on facebook . Special attention is given to those pics which are clicked by photographer at a separate photo session on the engagement/marriage day. Your new groom/bride friend has to keep his and in-laws family on priority while putting these pics, so that all come in balanced numbers and the relatives, especially in-laws get their due respect
Girls feel a new pride while changing their surname to match with their husband’s surname.
Some girls with a I-want-independence attitude will never change their surname, giving bad signs to husband that he has to remain under her control. Bad days for husbands ahead!
I have read this joke somewhere – Husband was having his first night after marriage and he was updating his facebook status . First update- ghunghat utha raha hu, 2nd update- aaj who zyada haseen hai ya chand??…Friends start commenting now--- beta laga reh, keep updating every moment whole night, we are enjoying..;)
Thus, facebook has come as a new way to promote your life socially after marriage. After marriage life, photos for events like first festivals after marriage(diwali, holi and karwa chauth..mostly), babies, their schooling etc. and couples pulling their leg by commenting on each other on their walls are going to become a common thing.
And, it's not a harm to do so. As our lives are becoming so busy ahead that we forget to keep in touch with ourselves and our dear friends, we can still see these updates, photos someday or the other and laugh them out as good memories!

Should girl go away and dress up with traditional ghunghat on face?
What should girls do to save their morality?
These questions always make many people to have a thought when girls' morality, their safety, their social value comes under question and the only major culprit who is always taken into custody is man and in 90% of the cases, its true. But what's all happening is really correct?
Men have this natural ability to get attracted towards a lady who has wore a gaudy dress, has a lustful walk etc. That Girl also knows that she is getting attention and to grab more of that pie, she will keep making herself look as attractive as possible. Girls do all this- may be in the name of social and personal freedom but the motive may be only to grab attention. It is justified that everyone likes to seek some attention but doing anything to get a lustful attraction of men is always dangerous for her. So, she must think to dress up sensibly before going out.
Men, on their part, should control their instincts towards a girl. Giving attention and getting attracted to someone have their limits but crossing the line to molest that girl will ultimately put whole men community in question. City Police or any moral brigade can't control these day-to-day issues as they can't monitor every girl on the road. So, it is the duty to whole aam junta there to have situation under control
India is a confused country. The country boasts of beautiful nude statues, sculptures at Ajanta, Khjuraho, its science of Kamasutra etc. but advocates to have girl to cover herself properly. We have been listening all social guidelines in media where some unknown personalities guide us with same rules. But can they justify out Kamasutra laden past then?
Becoming a preacher and dictating those rules is always easy but to provide a solution to this confusion is very difficult job. Ultimately, its all a duty of he and she of India to do everything in limit keeping a good balance and respect for Indian as well as Western Culture.shivansh's bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08852577998399684167noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2306889561643543551.post-83524306526035459212012-01-11T11:55:00.000-08:002012-01-11T11:55:41.083-08:00Plan A...or Plan B??

We have always been following a simple theory in life- Have a Plan, work for it and achieve it. But sometimes, we are not having surety of completion of that Plan when we may encounter chaos/complications/problems/hard situations etc. And at that time, a so called ‘Plan B’ becomes handy and has to be worked out.
God may have followed same when he created women first as Plan A but then has to create men along as Plan B to counteract blown up issues of Plan A aka Women ;)
I have also followed the same adage, made Plan A every time but seldom achieved it due to my inefficiency, fable spirit to work hard and all other excuses etc. I had thoughts of Plan B too but here is the catch…before I had my Plan B , my destiny already had its another Plan B. and before giving me a chance to execute mine, the destiny had already moved and made its Plan B active.
Today, whatever I am is due to this Plan B of destiny. This also supports the fact that whatever happens, happens for good and it is worth believing.
I am not sitting with a silver spoon given by destiny but yes, destiny has shown me it’s Plan and I have always worked to keep polishing myself and work harder on that Plan and as a result, I keep getting rewards.
Today, if you see any of my friends earning good(7 digit annual salary), studying in good institutes(IIMs, IITs) , they are all eating fruits of their Plan A’ success but I am eating fruits of destiny’s Plan B and I owe to make this success continue..
I hope that this Plan B of destiny and my Plan A will equate someday..shivansh's bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08852577998399684167noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2306889561643543551.post-79475104602207045482011-09-02T11:28:00.000-07:002011-09-02T11:30:07.041-07:00B for Bribery, C for Corruption and A for Anna....The whole month of August belonged to just one man…No guess work needed as the name is on our lips and mind. Our 67 Kg man-ANNA HAZARE( He has gained some weight since he broke his fast..). The man who fasted for 12 days, lived on water and got the government to genuflect in front of him or rather say..in front of the people for whom Anna was fighting.
We can’t say the corruption has ended after all this epic battle of 2 weeks but a ray of hope has been shown to Indians. Jai Anna!

As one week has passed since Anna broke his fast, It seems that its effect is also fading away at a good pace. Today, while standing in office lift, I was the audience to a conversation between two well-educated IT employees. Better name them B and C( A is for Anna.. :-) B had got fined at some traffic signal and was boasting how he escaped the penalty. If A-effect was there, he should have paid the fine. But instead, he paid Rs 100/- ONLY , to the cop and let the A-effect fall into drain. C was, as usual, laughing and learning. And I am sure that C will also do same thing next time-Prefer to pay bribe over fine.

Lord Rama, Krishna, Buddha –all came and went but could not clean the world fully. Same will happen here with Anna Hazare. He will be part of our history books, some roads and statues will be made for him. But his real reason to be here will be forgotten by all.

People boast of following Anna by praising him, by wearing ‘I am Anna’ caps, creating posters and wallpapers. But if we really want some change in this country, we have to wear Anna in our minds and hearts. Our words and deeds can never match but If we can care to give one try by improving characters of all those Bs, Cs in India and making our system more people friendly, the Anna effect will get its due respect.

back...Gurgaon is a city of rich...flaunting people..known by its name 'A Millennium city '..it is a brand in itself...Here, people believe in living life king size and they are not at fault....the high incomes here compel people to live like that...but the city lacks that sense of simplicity and friendliness...If you like to spend big bucks, live a flaunting life then Gurgaon is for you....for Networking....take that...its wonderfulIts 2.42 am by my lappy watch...sleeping n blogging...but events in past 1 hour just gave a bit of push to my adrenaline to do this write up...

Harbhajan Singh and Ashish Nehra had taken India to a miraculous win...and some facebook and twitter updates were expected...so not a BIIIIIIGGGGGG deal...

But as soon as i was about to switch off my laptop...i felt mild tremors of eartquake..the iron door of my house and so of other houses in the vicinity were shaking badly n i just came running out of the house...in this cold....called up home and made my parents a bit cautious about the events...

Now..i came back inside..switched on the laptop n opened google to search some news abt present eartquake...there was no media coverage as of now abt the earthquake...though on google..a real-time twitter update tool runs which keeps track of all the updates coming...n sec after sec...earthquake updates were there...i opened fb...n almost deja vu was hpng there...frens were updating earthquake-earthquake...

SO that's the magic of Social Networking in this age....It has given a new meaning to our virtual world...that connects people....you can't expect any media coverage as such as social networking does...we ourselves are the corresspondents...in this world of netizens...Twitter n fb are the tools of the day where one can speak his words or pour his shit freely...

A page-3 article of actress Konkana Sen came in this regard...guess, i m not that filmi buff but still this news has some connection here...The actress was facing trouble with her Tata Sky connection from past 3 days...n after being fed up she posted..na tweeted... her sigh remarks about Tata Sky on her twitter update..one of her fans was following her updates on Twitter updates and he turned out to be someone from Tata Sky only...he got it fixed in 2 hours....

Same goes with our former Minister of state Shashi Tharoor..He had got some Norton Antivirus product but its authorisation key was n't working...he also put his sigh comments about Norton on twitter..n within same day..the problem was resolved by Norton engineer....

Social Networking---may become an addiction..but if we use it judiciously and for changing society...it will turn to be a bliss...Its a new age thing which has shrunk us into Global Village...connected by our gadgets n posting n tweeting ourselves on the global 'wall' n twitter's 'notice board'....we all compaining, crying or laughing..all with those virtual social tools...Social Networking rocks...shivansh's border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562495972737327138" />

Indians and Indian Railways are having one thing in common- their size..Both are so populised..Indian railways being 4th largest rail network of world and 2nd largest public sector employer in whole world...and about Indian population...has a world rank of 2nd in terms of numbers(will be 1st in 2035)...

Indians have a distinct behaviour when they have anything to do at railway station- take travelling in train, dropping their relatives, their eating n toilet habits..everything...

Taking a dig on travelling...Indians or say....we are always particular about one thing..that our luggage should always be placed in the space over our head...Counting through my travel experiences, i have always seen people arguing, fighting for some 0.5 by 0.5 ft luggage space..adjusting or throwing away other passenger's luggage..and adjust their luggage like putting their baby comfortably in a pram....if the space over-head falls short, they will keep the luggage near their seat in between the passage...giving trammelled ways to move...and more the size of person, more will be his luggage...Railways should introduce separate luggage coaches in the passenger trains...to promote peace and luggage-passenger integrity in the trains...

Relatives who come at railway-stations to drop their near-dear ones form another exciting class of travellers...As soon as the train comes...the relatives along with passenger who is the real one to travel..get ready to do a high jump towards the train...After making the passsenger comfortable and exchanging a final warmth feeling with him, they try to move towards the exit door of the wagon..pushing n pulling other passengers out of their way...though, most of the times they will deboard somehow..but in many chaotic cases, relatives also become part of the journey...an extra luggage of the passenger...and giving some extra revenue to the railways in terms of fine...You can't take this risk in newly introduced trains-Durronto express...because it has no other stoppages in between and you will straight reach your destination..along with the extra set of your relatives...

Eating and Toilet habbits are other prominent look-at points at railway stations and trains...Railways lines not only serve as the lifelines of the country but also the toilet-lines..As 40% of population of India still does n't has access to toilets...they consider to put everything out of them on railway lines....one mug of water along will be handy for cleaning...all done under open skies..even the birds flying above feel embarrased and consider themselves more civilised then Indian humans...Eating habits of travellers also depends on their origin...Southies will feed on Idli, vada, sambhar...Northies will feed heavily on paranthas and tea...and all waste then thrown on railway lines....and no one bothers as it all has to be taken out on raliway tracks only..either by puking or shiting...

Railway stations too form a mini-India in itself...especially the New Delhi Railway Station(NDLS) n Mumbai's station...People from all origins..all 28 states n 7 UTs can be found moving here...doctors, beggars, teachers, students, engineers, govt. babus, peasents, workers..all professions.......hindus, christians, sikhs, parsis, muslims..all religions n castes..evryone can be found on NDLS...anyone can hardly disagree...its an example in itself of the place of national harmony n peace.....

Railways are having a whole ecosystem in itself..n we need to improve our travelling n living habits to make this ecosystem more livable and adaptable...Long live Indian railways!shivansh's and rich India..but rural and gareeb bharat..I read a report on Urbanising India today-published by Mckinsey. The facts and figures provided were quite astounding but it was a reality of the new vibrant and developing India...By 2030,590 million of Indian hoi polloi(people).. will be living in cities...twice that of poulation of USA...and one of Indian states to show this trait will be our own Punjab..where more people will be migrating from their villages or in desi language..their pinds to cities...Its very nice and lofty in way to think about that future..considering yourself as part of many Indian Urbanites...but as conditions are today...do add more chaos and mayhems to your urbanite dreams because its going to be a harsh relaity rather then a fantastic truth...

Indians are not fit, character wise to live like people in US or China or Europe..or name any beautiful landscape you think off...Corruption, over population, price rise, lack of infrastructure, health problems have already marred India...and by next decade, these problems will be infecting our roots..our next generation will be cursing us....Lets start with the data below

India just spends 0.2 % of its GDP on health and that too 78% of the health budget has to be borne by us privately...20% of rural population never care to go to a doctor....there is just 1 hospital bed for 1000 people...what you can expect now in 2030 ??it will be nice for us to start saving now for your health or buy a health insurance!!

Infrastructure is lacking like anything...though we have not so world class cities today and take pride in Delhi's roads, its metro...n in our Mumbai-city of dreams..but the cities have already reached to their peaks....and living there is just like filling an over-flowing pot..we have our IT hubs today like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune. Gurgaon to name few...some of them are already developed n some of them are developing..but at such a slow pace...that you will find yourself in queue on the very first day of their use...may never get a chance to use the infrastructire...beacuse high density of people depending on it...

Problem of Price rise viz. of vegetables, milk and other FMCGs...things that are of daily use and vital necessaity for a common Indian has put a burden on our pockets...the problem has attained such a horrendous shape..that even govt. is feeling helpless now on to how control this menace...Food inflation is at its peak since last 2 years....same with petrol prices....these things are becoming as precious as gold today.....Montek Singh Ahluwalia says that price rise is a symbol of India's prosperity in terms of our spending power.....but he does n't see the fact that spending is increasing because everything is priced at such astronomical numbers that even one month's salary will fall short to compensate the spending...

Corruption to the tune of Rs 20 lakh crores has led to our free-fall to bottom of Global Corruption Index..today we are compared with the likes of those poorest of poor African countries where people fight or bribe officials for 2 meals of day.....Everyday..one scam or the other takes our notice....and we start cursing our polity and bureaucrats...Such money if spent on development of infrastructure, providing relief to poor could have done wonders till now but its all doing wonders in the coffers of those babus who have sucked up this money like highly starved termites...

Everyday, every common Indian..in someway or the other....faces these problems....gets harrased...and then after just cursing the bad people..we sleep to again get harassed the next day...those whom we take as responsible, show their chalta hai attitude and leave the people in unending misery...

Its all our responsiblity....to take things in our hands now...and eradicate these problems...promote those people to administrative posts who owe their responsibilty to us to change our lives and make them livable...who can earn our daily praise instead of curses of daily harrassment....A massive change in our chalta hai character has to be infused form inside all of us...to be more practical first of 2011...First Blog of the new year....a new decade and that too after a long nice 6 months gap.....that hindi adage holds true here now....daer aaye durust aaye or sham ka bhula agar ghar wapis aa jaye, usse bhula nai kehte...(is this adage right??)...anywz...I am also at my home sweet home today...to celebrate special ocassions of Lohri n my Pa's 52nd birthday...though I couldn't give him any nice gift this time due to that thing....but will definitely give smthng big next year....

The journey(Noida-> chandigarh) had been quite foggy today....I got the first taste of Delhi's cold by driving bike at 6 am to catch that first metro to kashmiri gate...At Yamuna bank station...6 female CRPF personnel boarded the train...all glued up to radio's early morning broadcast or talking to their bfs/hubbies....by seeing them, I just got the true feeling of women getting their lost respect in India..Their faces..showing all light of confidence and zeal to serve the country was enough to give a tight slap to any man who still has those chauvanistic thoughts against womens' freedom...

After reaching Kashmiri gate...my stomach had started playing orchestra to feed the rats running inside....So i had to gulp some sandwiches and gave a 100 rupee note but he was short of change..so instead i told him to give me one water bottle and rest of the change... n here came the monetry loss of the day...i hurriedly put the change in my purse and scurried away to catch the 7.15 am bus...leaving bottle with him...sob sob....

Rest of the journey had been good....had a nice sleep for next 2 hours..thanx to last night's 4 hrs sleep, the bus's blower and the fog...i wish i could have brought my blanket along...But this time....the bus driver did some nice thing..he stopped the bus at the Haveli in Karnal..instead of their usual stoppage(some restaurent of Punjab transport dept....where an omelette costs Rs 70 and a burger costs Rs 90...)....Though my tummy was full...and rats were at peace..so i did't seek any refreshment but it was a nice place to do some quick photoshoot..to put them on fb...The Haveli is a nice place with an aroma of Punjab in its air..in its surroundings

Finally reached home after 6 hrs of long journey...had a nice feel to see all the smiling faces of near and dear ones..and then made most of the day with celebrations at home and doing the office work....

Today's blog post is lacking the flow of my disticntive writing style and may seem monotonus...so..apologies for that!!

God bless everyone...Adios!shivansh's between the mighty sun and our cute mother earth are just getting effaced. ..Are the two going around ;).....and here comes another drop of sweat droplet from my hair, following a clean path till nose and falling on my laptop...aaaa....just like the holy Ganga flowing from a dense forest and knocking at the doors of Arabian sea...........
Phew....forget it...but today’s post is about the Mooch alias Moustache alias....Its having so many names...the history of its name is as complex as to count the number of hair on your head.....

The word "moustache" derives from 16th century French moustache, which in turn is derived from the Italian mostaccio (14th century), dialectal mustaccio (16th century), from Medieval Latin mustacium (8th century), Medieval Greek moustakion (attested in the 9th century), which ultimately originates as a diminutive of Hellenistic Greek mustax (mustak-) "moustache", probably derived from Hellenistic Greek mullon "lip" ( I love you Wikipedia....;) )

My moustache came quite early at the age of 15-16....small black grass growing above my lips....i used to keep it as i wanted to flaunt it.. the signs of my youth age..but then i saw my photographs...which showed the disgust of my face due to my Moustache...so i had no other option then ..to press ctrl+X i.e cut it....

Leaving me....The moustache's history is as long as the age of man itself...Its a one of those gifts of god to the proud males...to distinguish us from our counterparts---females(among other things..lolz)....moving bit ahead...the Punjab and Rajasthan’s kings used to keep their moustache as high as Mt. Everest..Which served as the barometer of their respect...their rule...but as the time passed....the snow of this Mt.Everest started melting(no global warming here..)....it started becoming small in thickness, in length...in every dimension...and till now....I guess...it is being counted as endangered species....

The thickness and its shapes start increasing in ascending order as we move from East Asia to India...and it becomes more long and thick....as we travel to the vast deserts of Middle east..and Africa...from the thread like thin of Chun, Mun, Shins i.e. Chinese to a dense forest like thick of Khans, Pathans i.e. Arabian people...People like Charlie Chaplin, Hitler, Einstein, Verappan etc. got a special place in history due to their unique moustaches....

It’s still prevalent among Punjab especially sardars who are the flag bearers of the Mooch regiment....saviours of this Hairy thing... other people being our..Rajasthan people, some of our daily friends viz. Watchmen, doodhwala etc and our very own Bollywood.... Sardars still keep oiling their moustaches..My physics tutor used to...Sardars keep stretching the moon shaped ends of their moustaches....to keep them up.....above the sky...( i am not singing twinkle-twinkle poem here)....

This moustache has also caught the attraction of our bollywood...Shahrukh kept it in his average hit movies Paheli and Rab ne bana di Jodi...Salman Khan is keeping it in his forthcoming movie, Shatrughan Sinha kept it in all his movies...Amitabh Bachchan kept it in movie Lakshya...Hrithik kept it in Jodha Akbar....

But, our Gen-Y finds it uncool to keep this style....Girlfriends frown on having a glimpse of it on their Ranjhas' face...They give a caustic look and then act as critics aka Shoobhchintak...they keep suggesting to them to keep different looks..to look cool among aam Janta....then this depressed BF has to go to his stylist aka barber to get some work of scissors and machine..... Hair above lower lips and chin are now modified to keep that Makhi-shaped reverse triangular cut style of Dil Chahta hai.....to a straight hairy boulevard path from lower lips to end of chin...to those semi circular cuts above chin....among many others.(wow..I can be a barber now....lolz) ...

In all...we must keep a check on the decreasing limelight of moustache...being a saviour of this hairy angel thing would be much better than being a traitor...First of all....we should stop degrading people to avoid moustache...let those people love their style....We should ourselves try to keep this style for shorter intervals..Guys studying in colleges, working in offices should have a Moustache day for fun sake...keeping their moustaches in different styles...this will not only work as cool for their own image, it will help to save the low burning flame of keeping moustache....

In the end...i can just salute to the all people who are the torch-bearers of this sacred style...and love to remember those famous quotes on moustaches.... moochan de vatt, mooch nahi toh kooch nahin...etc...shivansh's bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08852577998399684167noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2306889561643543551.post-6473487549441296052010-06-09T06:45:00.001-07:002010-06-09T10:49:44.264-07:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 297px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF4KhHnEF-X5gKDwHDLSMJMMw5womQNGXvB7Xt3yHrvOmBh3HkTSee4i-4BU9ZiC1Hcm2J3xWlrVrEhfXa7Jw68Cmx7n-JpebHBAjHoypH5EiixkaUhxcKZCWcN2PgcTL7jm1Jv7hwzL4Z/s320/alphabet_alphabetwinnielourson_i_gif.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5480790105684956706" />

Om Ganeshaye namah!!!....Now that's a desi way to seek blessings from god before starting any work…..but...for blogging….. I would need blessings of my creativity and thoughts..so my mind, soul n body…..be with me….lolz..

I read today's technical news...n just saw the breaking news...which pushes your desires to a new limit….which makes your toungues to wag out…..…....
Apple finally launched a new model of IPhone….and then even my desires started jumping to grab this geek but it will take sometime…but then something struck my mind…How this alphabet ‘I’ has haunted me for whole life…..

There is a long list of these Is which have take toll on my life........life of people around me….now, lets break the Ice and here goes the list of those Is that have and might…remain of my life for certain amount of time….

This ‘I’ is a faulty one but still it ate a good deal of childhood time…...Until KG class, I wasn’t aware of the Roman numerals and whenever results were written at the blackboard or somewhere…I used to read this sacred letter at the top of the board as alphabet ‘I’ and in line with it was written the class topper’s name….I always dreamt to have that ‘I’ and be among class toppers…getting thirst to be the topper and get that I but then my bulb glowed as I jumped from 1st to 2nd standard that this ‘I’ is not an alphabet, it’s the roman representation of ordinal numbers i.e. ‘first’……

This ‘I’ came at the dusk of my teenage years but it was the reason for my father’s major depression due to me….adding another feather to my chagrin….as he expected me to have this ‘I’ tagged as a badge on my life…..but I hardly cared to have it….It was the majestic ‘I’ of those 6 Engineering temples….……the divine IITzzzzzzz……This ‘I’ had shaken the time between my 17th and 18th birthday as I never deserved it because of my meager hard work…It was the time when I woke up to this liberal world and came out of that conservative sau and sharif ladka image…It was the time when I started copying my friends’ lifestyle and started trying new fashion…in short this maa da laadla got spoiled during this epoch….and that ‘I’ never became part of my life….

This ‘I’ is currently…not haunting….but its my dream to have this ‘I’ so that my above sin gets washed out…..this ‘I’ belongs to those mighty castles from where future managers come out….the mighty IIMzzzzzz…..This is the I that can change my life upside down in a blissful way and of the people who desire more then me to see me with this ‘I’….This ‘I’ requires to have those high levels of smartness and I.Q. that I have to achieve in these coming 5 months……and I am achieving my high performance levels to touch the summit of this ‘smartness’ peak….

These Izzzz come in the same package which I desire to have after finishing my MBA and want to grab them from my own salary….that salary that not even near to the money numbers that I get now…..These Is are all those gadgets lauched by Apple….IPAD, IPHONE, ITOUCH……they are still a dream for me which are attached if my that above ‘I’ comes in my life…..

Last but not the least, this ‘I’ is the one that is dreaming the above ‘I’zzz….this ‘I’ is the spoiled brat of his parents….this ‘I’ is the one with whom all of above Izzz follow….this ‘I’ is the one who wants to stand above all those Jzzz, Kzzz, Lzzzz who are around him…..and dreams of the coveted seats of IIMzz and IITzz…..this ‘I’ is His Holi Highness ME…..

Phew…not that long list…I guess…but whatever be the story…the whole Maya of this ‘I’ has captivated not only me but many other normal lads of my age….who have a life more or less…same like me….I just wanna say this to all these friends of mine….These Izzz will come and go from your life…No doubt…..they can enrich your life to new levels….but worrying for them will not bring any conclusion...Not having either of them is not the end of life…but one ‘I’ will always be with you and you have to always keep it happy….cherish it….respect it…and give your best possible….to make this ‘I’ smiling… and always stays bindaas…..This ‘I’ is simply……..you and me….as person…

Finally this ‘I’ epic has reached its end with these not-so-funny lines which I used in childhood to tease someone who just said ‘I’….

I I I I…..
Teri Girlfriend aayi,
Tune chai na pilayi,
Tujhe sharam na aayi,

shivansh's sun had set in, wheels were in motion and i was being dropped at the station...i was just viewing end of another blissful stay at my home...simultaneously listening to the missile like scolding words of my father..as usual...which are his complaints with me....actually by this..he shows how much he loves me...and exhumes everything out of his heart that he has stored for me...aah!!..me a lucky son of an unlucky father;);)

On way to Delhi...I was catching the beautiful scenes passing outside my window...Burnt wheat fields, facades of kuchha village houses passing by..village damsels....trees..n all beautiful creatures of man n nature...Then one unusual eye-soothing n lips-smiling sight caught me at one of the stations....a child in his village school uniform was trying to drink water from his above-height tap...he was making all-wet attempts..laughing..unaware of people watching around him...unaware of his clothes which were getting soaked..bunked his school to catch the 1st glimpse of the train....I was just trying to feel his carefree state of mind....unaware of anything around...and then i asked myself

"Dude! why can't you be like that???"....a carefree soul...what i need...a temporary nirvana..exonerating all those chaos..botherings..problems....commotions...worries....fears....that have always been revolving around me....

Then, another voice came from somewhere...clearing all that smog around me...a waking up dude-like-saint...it just told me these lines..

"Dude! I am you...I am the source of all those worries..commotions....all those synonyms u used...i m also in relation with them....but perhaps my best identity is...I am the solution to all of them...Just learn to be satisfied..living in ur present...past is not gonna come back..and future is just another unknown fiction..it is just your present..and you have to decide what you want to do in this time...have this frivolous thinking like u r having now...or just start doing some action for all those magnified-but-miniature form problems....be lively with your present..it always accompanies you wherever you go...everyday is a new day and you have to end each day by giving your ultimate best to the present....this not only improves your problem past but also sows seeds for a better tomorrow... so Wake up shivu!! present is calling you.....stand up dude n JUST DO IT!!!"...shivansh's bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08852577998399684167noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2306889561643543551.post-52768007386276207992010-04-22T10:33:00.000-07:002010-11-19T08:14:18.193-08:00Women--Angels or Demons????While writing the title...i just got first spelling mistake in writing the word 'women'...i guess women have already begun to curse me up for this post...;)

Anywz...I am reading a book these days "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus"...and due to some mystic incidents in last few weeks...caught my attention to write up this post....

Firstly to tickle your funny bone a bit...let me share these incidents...Last October..i was travelling by train..and i had a newly wed sardar sardarni couple as my neighbours(i was quite lucky...)...when the breakfast was served..sardar ji took sauce and sardarni held the breadpiece...and sardar ji started making heart shape designs over the bread...after sometime he started applying nail-polish to her..when we were about to arrive chandigarh, sardarni went to restroom..changed into a suit..applied a sindoor to look traditional in front of her parents-in-law..now this girl is supportive to her husband...and cares for the family as well as for her...

Same incident happened again last week..but characters(except me..) and story got changed a bit...there were no romantic acts here..the new bride had just laid her head on guy's shoulders to seek some romantic comforts...but suddenly she started complaining about guy's relatives, his family and came in a Jhansi ki Rani mode...Guy..was just doing hmmm,yes,hmm..no options left other then to face that fighting lady's menace...i m sure he would be regretting and thinking how he will live with this crying baby now...for whole life...now this girl is surely uncaring about her family....uncaring for her husband...and a true headache for anyone.....

Women-Angels or Demons...?? Well..this riddle can never be solved...Past historians, Psychologists, Scientists..every sort of human occupation is confused about this riddle..Its solution always comes temporarily like.....when she is a wife...angel or demon-confusion here.....sister...again confusion...girlfriend...confusion again.....but two relations will never give confusion...at least to me..that are...daughter and mother.....Other relations may always need some correction but these two are too pure...

Perhaps..we may never live without women(no one wants to be a gay here..right)...we are always dependent on her in these life roles as well as in our daily life..nothing eye-catching can be created without them....have you seen any adv. without women?? This happened today only... When you move ur hand ahead to have a hand shake with someone and that person did't even notice that...or moreover passes away from near you...n u just keep standing as a statue..having a nice shy smile....n giving some nice slangs to ur dearest friend...

2. You are sitting somewhere...in a bus, train, market, cinema...any waiting place...and the person seating next to you start taking a nap and starts hanging is head in air and then looking for ur shoulder as a nice pillow....you start adjusting yourself so that he does't fall on you but the other is in sleep...n he is on a free fall..so wat to do...?? or if it had happened wid me and a girl was sitting next to me...taking a nap and looking for my help....i will offer my shoulder gracefully;)

3. This happened in school time.......you are having a test the very next day..n u start preparing confidently....next day u have question paper in front of u and when u look at questions, they are all out of syllabus..(according to u). But when u do all the investigation, the moment comes..u have prepared chapter-5 instead of chapter-6 coz. u have noted down syllabus in haste...so enjoy in exam...

4. When someone is trying to open any lid or break something...and he is not able to do as its closed quite tightly...u..treating urself as hercules...just take the thing in ur hand telling ur fren..."le!! tere mein itna dum bhi nai hai....let me open it"...n u apply ur H power...which is all C-grade and u can't even open or break it....Now just imagine ur look that time....i hope u are getting embarrassed now...

Well..these are just some moments which keep happening now n then....either u can laugh them away or get embarrassed with them.....former is better but ultimately....u will get embarrassed smilingly and laugh them away.......... :):)

shivansh's bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08852577998399684167noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2306889561643543551.post-25592140805606395372009-05-16T11:12:00.000-07:002009-05-16T23:14:13.313-07:00haryana 2020...

Haryana 20-20.....sounds like some haryana's very own cricket tournament..but naa TAU...

that was haryana roadways bus no....in which i came last night to chandigarh...

boy...what a journey...the driver drove so smoothly....just broke two side mirrors of trucks while overtaking...and i reached in 4 hours..which normally is a 5 hours journey..

truly saying..they are the cheetahs of G.T. After selecting fruits of my part, I was standing in Billing queue & i noticed this lady's impatience. The fruit seller was not having change( just 1 rupee) for balance to pay her and politely told the lady " Madam ji, thodi der wait kar lijiye ya parchi le jaiye" and then came her impatience..she just murmered these nice words with her nice facial expressions- " f******* jeasus christ, what the indians, idiots".(she was herself an indian....guys).. and she started leaving..fruit seller politely shouted at her to take a 1 rupee token and her reply..u can guess it...."oh! shut up, keep that with you"....

This lady needs to attend some How-to-speak-well classes...and Fruit wale Bhaiya!! please keep some change yaar...for these impatient n well-mannered fruit eaters...

I have been brought up watching Ramayan and Mahabharat on t.v. and have always learnt the holy importance of the Indian cow( Cow Mata ki Jai Ho....). But I have always wondered why they are so much part of our daily traffic. The stray cattle are always leading the traffic and innocent drivers have nothing to do except to wait impatiently or blow horns....Chalo! that's bit common...but here in Noida..There is another add-on. The nearby village people take their buffalos for grazing from the common heavy traffic road itself....they have no traffic signals to obey...and just co-operate enough to do some nice traffic jams...One can't argue with them as they are all like we-are-not-listening-you people...and you never know..when one of the buffalos becomes mad and hit you as you are waiting at opposite side..to let their march-past go patiently...(they do hit....be careful..it has happened with me..even if i was not wearing RED clothes that day...)....

shivansh's bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08852577998399684167noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2306889561643543551.post-84800035302682633152009-04-27T10:11:00.000-07:002009-04-27T10:37:21.564-07:00Amulaya Amul....<img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; Suddenly,he started pounding my leg. He was expecting me to feed him something. i put some chanas for him to eat. but he just smelled them and made some i-don't wanna-eat-these look and again pounded my leg heavily..i was just wondering is this dog demanding some cigarette to smoke??...sounds weird but just think...this may be right..!!

Its India guys...unbelievable things keep happening. Our former health minister Dr. Venugopal...introduced this much hyped Smoking Ban..(which itself smoked up)everywhere...but that's only for Humans..not for animals!! so Doggy n Animal world....enjoy ur smokii freedom..

Remember that Pug Dog, yea..the Hero of Hutch which just blowed away every dog breed and became everyone's first choice for pet. When it came in this Adv. world, its demand just started touching cloud 9...Before That, the dog was priced at 3000-4000 bucks and even hardly anyone bought it.. but its in Indian blood to go crazy..As people saw him in "U n I in this beautiful world"...people started searching for their next family member and prices straight went up to whopping...50000 bucks.Pug became a star out of nowhere...it also came in movies...Mujhse Shaadi karogi, Fool n Final(remember hajmola..)...but as Vodafone bought Hutch...they just changed everything to their fav. color-- red n pink...n so our pug was shown the pink slip....poor pug!! but anywz....we will miss u pug....!!! i just hope that people don't left their much hyped family member as stray dogs on roads..

Now its turn of this Portugese Water dog breed which is US's first pet...u got it right...this is Obama's much publicised first pet. Media has left no stone unturned to make the Dog - a treat for every eye. I read this in TOI...dog is getting a price tag of dreamy figure of 1,00,000 bucks....and 5-8 year old typical-Indian-Daddy-loved-Kid is saying to his papa-" can't we have it! daddy??" and these Papas...for sake of their kid love...are vandelising every pet shop for this dog....in this Hot Delhi weather. Petshop owners are getting dog imported from Thailand, Portugal etc to meet up the demand.....now our Indian Papa has to make a tough choice...to buy this lakhTakiya Nano or this lakhTakiya Kutta!!

Just Imagine...how this Amitabh's dialogue will look like..."Mere paas bunglow hai, gari hai, bank balance hai...n...bachu!..mere paas MAA bhi hai...tumhare paas kya hai...hayin??"

Shashi Kapoor-"Mere paas....Kutta hai!!"

shivansh's bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08852577998399684167noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2306889561643543551.post-18777815101143178552009-04-14T10:48:00.000-07:002009-04-14T11:09:47.409-07:00Gen.
